Mai-Wel
Website Design/Social Media

The Client

Mai-Wel is an established Not For Profit organisation that serves the Greater Hunter and Maitland region.

The Project

The following is a conceptual exploration, focused on creating a singular visual system to tie their web, social, digital and print collateral together.

The Process

After performing an initial analysis of their current website, social media accounts, signage and downloadable collateral a brand extension was ideated to develop their branding.

Brand extensions are an effective way to reload the look and feel for established organisations that want to avoid more firm rebranding operations. It takes a creative approach to strategise a new look, without destroying its market awareness and brand equity.

For Mai-Wel, the proposed refresh would form part of a universal content update ensuring that their imagery, language and voice were structured across all digital content and future print media.

The Solution

The proposed brand extension would deploy a range of new elements, including:

  • Website design and content updates

  • A universal gradient across a range of deliverables, combining together their current corporate colours.

  • Implementing a cohesive icon suite for their web, social and digital media to move towards a global imagery bible

  • Creating templates for their social media accounts to speed up content creation and push the new cohesive image

  • Animate their current logo's across three of their group entities to reenergize the brand.

The below example illustrates how their new look could be utlilised across an Instagram feed, using a suite of unique icons, supplied imagery and templates to provide organisation.
