The Client
Youth Connections is a not-for-profit organisation providing programs, services, training and employment opportunities to young people in need.
The Project
The creation of a new logo, brand and website along with asset deployment across web, social, signage and uniforms.
The Process
After working closely with the key decision-makers within the organisation it became crystal clear that we needed to produce a fresh, youthful and respectful brand for the company moving forward.
This involved researching the current not for profit landscape to ascertain the services, values and image of their competitors, as well as interviewing the current participants and staff to gather their input into the project.
Early in the discovery and analysis process, we identified that we would need to apply not only a creative strategy but apply marketingtechniques and an overall brand strategy too.
The Solution
The successful logo, icon and branging was developed over a 30 day period with close attention paid to legibility, inclusion and visbility. This new brand needed to be flexibile enough to be used across a broad range of deliverables from business cards upto full site signage.
Launching the new brand included:

Creation of a personality and brand document for the Youth Connections brand

Deploying the new brand and identity across digital, print, signage, uniforms and marketing material

Development and launching of a consolidated SEO optimised website to replace multiple older sites

Cultivating a private social media community for disengaged youth with a disability during the 2019 and 2020 pandemic lockdowns

Developing and deploying organic and paid social media marketing campaigns for programs and services

Implementing an SEO strategy to improve searchability through Google

Creating SEM campaigns on Google Ads to target new participants and drive brand awareness

Designing targeted print campaigns and sales collateral such as uniforms to support the internal sales team and staff

Creating EDM communications with staff to support Youth Connections team initiatives.
